Buck Mountain (11,938 ft.) seen from the southeast, dominates the peaks just north of Death Canyon. Albright Peak (10,552 ft.) rises above the open meadows of the old White Grass Ranch. Static Peak (11,303 ft.) sits on the southeastern shoulder of Buck and is off-limits in winter to provide habitat for bighorn sheep.
